A little bit about me:

• I’m from Atlanta, GA but I currently live in Arlington, VA
• I have dual citizenship with the US and Colombia (2 passports)
• In addition to English, I speak Spanish and French.

Some hobbies of mine:

• I love staying active by running or doing yoga
• Playing with my dog, Dusty
• Sailing
• Trying new restaurants or bars

Ever since I was young I’ve had a passion for travel and learning new languages. I asked for sign language lessons for Christmas, got translation books for my birthday, and always asked my parents if we could travel to new places. I grew up spending my summers in Colombia, and this really sparked my fascination with exploring new places.

I’m a big foodie and have come to realize that one of my favorite parts of traveling is trying new foods. Even if you’re traveling to a place where you don’t speak the primary language, everyone speaks the language of food. I have this blog to show you how eating like a local can spice up your travels.
